NDAMBI - TUNIN' UP AND
COSIGNIN'
N'dambi came to promenance
as backing singer to Erykah Badu on her massive album Baduism in the late 90's.
Her first solo album 'Little Girls Lost Blues' released on her own
independently distributed label was a major seller, from which three tracks
were released in the UK on our Organic Soul Vol 1 album. She is now firmly
established as one of the major independent soul artists in America. This, her
second album is an outstanding mixture of Soul and Jazz appealing to a wide
variety of tastes and is one of the highest quality albums produced in recent
years. Recorded live in the studio with a full band including horns, taking her
vocal and song writing talents to another level.. It includes the track 'Call
Me' which recently received underground club and radio plays resulting in a
bootleg vinyl pressing. Originally released as double CD, all the best tracks
are presented here leaving out the interludes etc and it is released on Vinyl
for the first time in the world in a limited edition double LP. The album is
beginning to pick up rave reviews, one suggesting that it was 'Award Winning
Stuff'.
