Brass Construction self titled debut album is a legendary genre defining album , that changed the way that funk music was made. Up until its release in 1975 Funk music 
generally had a mid tempo groove albeit extremely danceable typified by James Brown, 
and groups like Fatback Band, Mandrill ,War etc.

The sheer energy of the album and in particular ‘Movin’ and ‘Changin’ had a more uptempo approach and was an instant success, a created a sound that was popular in clubs for many years, in fact it still sounds great today 35 years on.

We are delighted to be able to include this great record in our classic albums series, re-mastered from the original master tapes and with very interesting sleeve notes from Randy Muller himself.
